Ten free Claude Skills for small organizations
Downloadable Claude Skills for prompting, AI policy, tool evaluation, proposals, SOPs and more, each built around how small organizations actually work.
A Claude Skill is a small package of instructions that teaches Claude how to do one job well, step by step. We built these ten for the kinds of work small businesses, nonprofits and ministries do every week. They’re free to download and use.
To install one: download the .skill file, then upload it in Claude’s settings where Skills are managed. Watch the short install video for a walk-through.
Featured: Prompt Crafter
Download prompt-crafter.skill. An interactive guide to writing strong prompts for any AI system (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and others). It walks you through a short Q&A and builds a well-structured prompt with you. The quality of what AI gives you depends on the quality of what you give it.
The rest of the set
- AI Policy Generator. Builds a customized AI policy for a small organization: acceptable use, data handling and governance, with industry-specific compliance in mind.
- AI Tool Evaluator. Cuts through the marketing to judge an AI tool’s real value, fit, security and return on investment.
- Business Process Analyzer. Finds AI opportunities in a process using our “From Z to A” method, starting with what AI makes possible.
- Business Communication Drafter. Drafts emails, letters and announcements, matching tone to the relationship.
- Customer Response Generator. Helps write empathetic, solution-focused replies to customers.
- Meeting Notes Extractor. Turns transcripts or rough notes into clean notes, decisions and action items.
- Proposal & Quote Generator. Builds proposals and estimates that communicate value, scope and investment clearly.
- SOP Documentation Creator. Captures how work gets done as standard operating procedures and training material.
- Social Media Content Planner. Plans content calendars and platform-specific posts in your own voice.
A note on safety
Each skill is a plain-text instruction file. There’s no code to run and nothing that connects to your accounts. As with any AI tool, think before you paste sensitive information into a conversation. The AI Policy Generator can help your team decide where that line is.
Want help putting these to work? That’s what the Zeal AI CoLab is for.
